The Pangarchulla Peak Trek begins its journey from the charming town of Joshimath, which is situated in the breathtaking Chamoli district of Uttarakhand.
Pangarchulla is a 6 to 7 day trek covering a distance of approx. 40 kilometers. The trek starts from Joshimath and takes you through Dhak village, Khullara, and Pangarchulla Peak.
Pangarchulla Trek is a moderate to difficult level trek, and requires good level of fitness. The trail has a mix of steep ascents and descents, making it challenging for beginners.
The altitude of Pangarchulla Peak Trek reaches a maximum of approximately 15,100 feet (4,602 meters) at the summit of Pangarchulla Peak.
Best time to visit Pangarchulla Trek is from April to June and September to November. During these months, the weather is pleasant, and the views are clear.
During the trek, you'll enjoy wholesome, hot meals including breakfast, lunch, tea with snacks, hot soup, and dinner with a variety of desserts each day.
During the trek, you'll be provided with either a 3-person or 4-person tent for accommodation. Female trekkers, there's the option to share a tent or room with other female participants.
